echo 1 vs JG..

so this past week while buying and selling guns, for myself and teammates i got to hold 3 different AEG's made by two different companies.

first up is the jg g36c and echo 1 g36c.

i was selling my friends JG and was looking at the buyers echo 1.
the echo 1 seemed to have a darker shade of black coloration. also, the echo 1 felt MUCH studier, and was slightly heavier. all in the plastic i guess? if this is a rebrand, the completely changed the external body, the echo 1 feels much better.

the same thing can be said for the m4 produced by both. the jg felt very cheap, while the echo 1 felt studier and was much blacker.

the only aeg that looked and felt the same was the mp5. i had an echo 1 mp5 for awhile and was looking at a players full stock mp5. i couldn't really tell a difference.

so what do you guys think? rebrand?

That's very weird...Echo 1 is supposed to be sister company to D boys... plus, Tokyo Marui actually made the company JG after leaving the Chinese market. So, the way you're making it sound, it seems that Echo 1 is superior to JG.. which sounds kinda...weird....

the exterior is superior, that's for sure.

jg mimics TM soooooo closely because they have TM's molds.

well I guess that would depend on a specific gun, but generally speaking, I wouldn't think so. but i'm never the guy to ask about this, I've never even owned a gun from either company

i've owned a jg m16, and g36c, g36k, and g36e.

i've owned a echo 1 mp5, and g36c.

the echo 1 mp5 was okay, bad rof but excellent range.

the jg m16 constantly cracked gearboxes.. it is the green tiger one that PB matrix uses as a rental gun...

the g36's were all average, i hate how they all come with a g36c length barrel.


(i usually buy a gun, use it for a month, then sell or trade it.) kind of like khanseb on youtube!

but i think i'm gonna finally settle down with this mp5k and upgrade it myself.

Jg is mainly garbage the g36c can be upgraded like crazy internally but the externals are still shit. All their other guns are pretty much shit besides the g36 series. Now echo 1 makes some good shit and some bad shit, for 230 the echo 1 cpw is the best gun u can get, its ugly but its sick, fast rof and crazy fps. The zombat is nasty but not the plastic one, the xcr is beast but expensive, and of course the m249 m240 bravo and rpk are all boss. Platinum series echo 1 m4 is really good also. And I dont see a jg minigun.

JG g36 externals are very good and sturdy in my opinion and can easily be compared to any other aeg g36 from my experience, most echo1 rifles are re branded JG's, the jg bar 10 is also amazing the only jg guns that aren't very good are the m4' and m16's witch are still good for the price.
