PostSubject: Designer of the AK 47 dies   Sat Dec 28, 2013 7:30 pm

Mikhail Kalashnikov Died of old age at age 94 Monday Dec 24th 2013... It was during Nazi German war when the  young engineer picked up a captured German MP 44 STG and realized how to make it better...Instead of the long process of milling metal, whole parts were stamped...The Result was The AK-47 Assault Rifle...Which came too late for use in World war 2 but saw action in other wars and conlicts... It was so reliable that during the Vietnam war, American Soldiers would throw away their own M-16's for any captured AK-47s. His Gun was not generally accurate but it was well suited for all enviornments and soldier proof! The AK-47 has been emblemed on National flags and has seen mass production in most communist idustrial countries...Not just for the standard army,It has been handled by Children taught to fight as well as Terrorist and has been the hottest topic in street crimes. Some say his weapon design killed more people on the planet than Nuclear bombs....Lets just say he was not the one who pulled the trigger! AK-47 designs spawned several other variants  such as the RPK, AK-74U and the Dragonov.
Mikhail Kalashnikov REST IN PEACE, though your guns never will!
