| Ok... guys so you wanna show off yer kick ass "REAL" guns... Post your Kick ass arsenal of fantastic Guns here... in this Virtual Gun show and feel free to include any information about them, there era...or how you got it... Please don't say you pried them off the cold dead dying hands of Charleston Heston! This post also includes showing off your Airsoft weapons too! My complete Swedish Kar98 Mauser with bayonet .........Built in 1898 it served the German army in 2 world wars....Fires a 6.55 bullet....This weapon went through the armory and was shortened in WW 2....there are 2 notches carved into the stock indicated it has slain 2 enemy soldiers! I play Battlefield 1942 on my PC so it sits by by gaming computer while I'm a virtual German soldier! I have fired it and its got quite a deadly kick!.....Bullets are also deadly expensive so I won't shoot it no more!

Quite possibly was picked up by an ally during or after the great war, many of these great guns were made available after the great war and may have been handed down... Thee Olde Mauser s are now being sold again to collectors from some armory's that have held them... many have been restored with even new wooden stocks....The Mauser was one of those guns that represented the last of IMPERIAL EMPIRE RULE ERA and the Dawn of Full automatic mechanized warfare! If this gun could talk it would say that the designers who made it never knew of the coming of airplanes, tanks, and machine guns....The Designer himself would have only recalled Napoleonic wars and the US Civil war back in his time at the drawing table.....
