What special event and what occasion would be awesome for airsoft?

It's just a thought but what kind of day would you want people to play and theme/occasion like Halloween with 50+ players for example.

Im not sure if any of you trolling fucks take anything seriously so you just spat out a silly game for an event...pretty piss poor excuse too!

Halloween would be preety classic but it faces some competiton with the fact that the event would compete with all the real world Halloween activites so its better to host this kind of event a few days before Halloween.

Halloween type event would most likelly be a full on Zombie outbreak...Players are required to bring both a Zombie load out as well as a Survivor loadout.

Seriously this kind of event could be rehearsed on any other day but we gotta get more players assembled for a serious zombie game.

REQUIREMENTS:

ZOMBIE LOADOUT:

Full facemask armor and ragged outfit of heavy duty clothing for CQB action!- NO bang outs!

Zombies get one Mad Scientist Jugernaught- AKA- NEMISIS!.....who is wielding a Machine gun like in the resident evil movies!

Survivor Loadouts:
Pistols only and wear the Expected full face mask protection expected in CQB action- NO BANG OUTS!

MACHINE GUN SLOT:

only a few selected will be drawn out for the Machine gun slot...all others must switch over to semi ....Machine gunners must be placed on squad teams in games and will be determined in such that game play is equal.

Rules:

(Best played at night)

any hits by anyone will require the wounded on any side to remain stunned for 10 seconds.

Zombies are dead if tagged out after being hit!

Surviors are infected if Zombies tagg them when stunned or are able to make any contact with the infected....all survivors who are infected will join the Zombies as one of them 30 seconds after the first bite...(YOU CANNOT EXECUTE A COMRAD WHO HAS BEEN INFECTED AT THIS TIME)

CURE?
There is one cure in the form of a paint ball container capsule and it glows in the dark as it is filled with a few green glow sticks and will be at the base in a unmovable position... a wounded player has 30 seconds to run back to base and wear it as a cure measure...at this point you cannot remove it... next bite means its all over!

This event could take place on any good day of the Lunar cycle.

Althogh overlooked, how about setting up the theme, before the day of the day!

-Bunker Build off day!....a certain selected day a vollunteer group gathers and the field gets a good rearrangement of bunker builds.

Maintance day could be rewarding as vollunteers could get in free if they attended one V- day of Bunker building.

Best hosted on a cool nice day with a good roll call and consist of a qualified group of tool wielding pros!

Requires good planning,

Logistical mapping of planned builds.

materials to build must be decided and collected to the site.

individual man power and tools are required as well as a team who has a power generator.

bunker building is labor intensive team work... exersise real world safty when conducting work with power tools.

All bunker builds must be safe load bearing structures free of sharp objects and possiblly over engineered for the unexpected overload of idiot players!

Or to just play in whatever your costume is for that year. Having same typical games but in our costumes has a certain kind of appeal that some may find entertaining. Friend1:"Dude who took us all out?" Friend2: "The guy in the Team Fortress 2 Pyro getup"/"The guy dressed like Tony Montana"/"The pink bunny". Ridiculous comments or stories among each other where we talk about how embarrassing it was too get out by someone in an outrageous costume.

As for other event days, I guess a Thanksgiving Turkey shoot out isn't to unrealistic. Or a July 4 event of some sort where fireworks could be involved as long as the field owners/managers would ohk it. A Saint Patrick's Day event where you have to come in all green (or at least the majority of you should be green). I'm not sure what else.
