New lay out

Who else here is digging the new layout for the forum

love. it nothing goes better with jet black than neon green

Me , If you guys don't like it let me know. I thought it was time for a change.

For a second i thought my phone crapped out because the firt thing i saw was neon green lettering. Then i scrolled to the top and saw the epicness. Awesome new layout!

Id like to see it in chrome blue or red but if you ask me this green is cool just to thin

its good but the green is kind of annoying a dark red or blue would be perfect

From a graphic designer's view its too much on the eyes. The green and black look is pimp for sure, but its too green almost. I would also recommend shrinking the buttons down, you want navigation to be simple and not have to scroll down. The concept of them however is awesome, using the rifles.

Chrome or a grey look as mentioned would look really nice, but definitely keep green accents in it as well. A good start for sure, just needs some tweaking here and there.

I would be happy to help you with some of the design work if you like, little things like the icons and what not.

i think its nice i guess, honestly it dosent make a difference to me, but the fact that i have to scroll sideways is inconvenient. im not sure if its not done yet, or if im the only one with this problem, but just saying. but otherwise its nice

What size monitor are you using? Scrolling issue should now be good let me know. Changes have been made to the colors also, Let me know all thanks!

yeah im experiencing the same thing, i have to scroll sideways quite a good bit to look at the chat box or get to the messages and logout icon

Increase your monitor resolution.

The green is much easier on the eyes for sure. Looks good. What if you did like an OD Green? I think it would look well too.

I dont i have a 23.5in monitor

the OD greens a little too dark. the neon green was easier to read and doesn't blend in with the black background. IMO.

I liked it when the original post had Landmarks such as Popular or Locked... so far the new post only shows what is locked but the Popular topic post logo is now gone!

Please see if you can make these most popular on going topics stand out so that a good compilation of feedback as well as pages of related subjects on the topic can be funneled into one or more orderly related on going topic posts so that it will not all come to chaos and such that we soon have 20 or more topic post about the same subjects!

Some airsofters proudly take the time to author write storys and compile cool data in their spare time and this is in fact the very glue that holds up the book!

The original topic landmarks will motivate people to keep those all important posts and postings all going....strive for perfection about topics!

Update on Quotes....and return quotes... It is usually seen all in red script but now seems to be highlighted with a red bar that is too dark as it overlaps the script...Not good!

I cannot read very well a quoted topic if the red bar crosses it out... maybe it was better to leave it alone!

Make good changes but keep it practical.

The Forum stretched scrolling problem is probablly due to the new Machine gun stuff on the to pof the Forum post where there was originally a single photo.

This new format is actually much wider and the computers treats it so.

sollution:

Restore the default photo and make all the practical stuff as small as it originally was as the guns actually count as a font!

Or.... have each weapon moved on top of one another by typing enter in editing to give each one its own stace so it will stack up as a narrow column and not get so wide.

I am not sure if this will work in the whole process but its an educated guess.

Thanks for your technical support.

Some of the changes to the Forum seem nice but what still bothers me is the change to the reading and readable parts of forum posting and quote responses... now a quote response is all unreadable as it is now all white out were it was once in red.

I tend to reread topics and see who is quoting who and what, the new forum mods have damaged any new interesting reading and it should be put back the way it practically was.


Forum modds are cool,me just saying if it were me steering the boat...
I would rather restore the Forum back the way it was and keep some things standard and above all it must not be modded in a way that it is too difficult or imposible to read.

...and make slow suttle changes and not over do any radical shit that could crash or make yer passengers sea sick!

Now its good.
