OCt 23rd 2011 PB Matrix field
Today was a day of Death Rag enforcement as I had left my house with some red fabric and upon arriving had more than 60 death rags cut out and handed to every player.
Unfortunatelly the referees misused the rags as identification team tape but that ended quick!... The Death rags must be used and enforced as a standard death color... as yesterday I pummled some players and did not know if I had hit them as I could not hear them call out hit!
Today after everyone used Death rags we had no incidents of overkill!
I actually did not play as much upon arrival, merely hung out, hosted games, cut the death rags out and explained its practical use.
For Now on, The Use of Death Rags will now be Manditory... You will all be issued a death Rag provided from the field but maybe you will want a bigger personal red bandanna!
There will be no excuses of not having one or using it, we are going to run this field by the book so start acting like pros!
We had a small squabble argument between players but we soon got them to make up and be friends as it is unproductive to carry on and of course airsoft can at times be messy!....No details as the guys shook hands and played on!
Later on when I did play I used only my Luger and did a pistol hunt for dangerious WANTED men!
The game rapped up but I had the crew and some players stay late and clean and repair the field... The Bunker on that Multch hill needs maintanance because the Multch compresses so we got guys pitch forking more in the areas that got crushed.
At Pipe Bunker, Ron and I took down a badly built pipe wall and hung a new one up.
PB Matrix Crew also helped me locate and remove 3 crate loads worth of discovered Glas jars and bottles, some broken glass and wooden boards that have nails...I stepped on one today that puntured my shoe but I felt it prick me and withdrew before it could cut me... Now the area is good enough to walk almost bare foot!
One more woodland bunker was also added to assault the hill bunker as well as a sniper spot that requires the use of the old boat!
