Game Marshals

some people want to keep it fair that everyone calls there hits why dont we have game mashals im not pointing fingers but some people never call hits
so mabe we should have or not leave a comment saying yes or no and why and the 1 the wins well you know how it gose the rest of the way

Who would want to give up playing a match to be marshal? And he might get in the way alot.

No but we can choice 2 or 3 marshall in each team and they cant play 2

it wouldnt really make a difference. they cant see all the people playing at the same time. and some will use the excuse "the ref didnt see it".

we could put the marshall to play like play playbut just no ammo or gun i dont know something like that

The use of a Mashal is only good like say calling out a time sequence in a match and occationally witnessing any hits... He is most useful by keeping track of active players and determining when the game is to be called over if it is too long and the rest are camping...

I would play field mashal if the game was only too complex that it needed one to keep it flowing, otherwise it is actually a boring role for that guy who volunteers.

This duty is Honorable, but not always fun.

well the problem with that is that how is a marshal gonna know if someone gets hit? its not like paintball where if u get hit then u get splatted and its obvious u got hit. i think its a bad idea

but the thing sanddragon said about making sure the game doesnt last long is true

Game Marshals shouldn't try to follow players as the enemy team may turn to look at him as a sort of tool for tracking the enemy action- NOOB TACTICS.

a Marshal following players will also rudelly give others positions away and maybe even get inthe way....

I suguest that the type of marshal actions should be passive and stealthy, he must not in any way be used as an aid nor distract...Camera men also can attract attention to all those trying to be stealthy.

a single combat Marshal cannot be effective unless he is also truelly is playing like he is actually on the squad he is following, only he is not to play and must be unbias to either side...he would follow the squad until it is either wiped out or the game is over.

the problem here is that a gathering of several marshals actually needed will never truelly be taken seriously here because everyone here wants to play and thats why we are all here....you would only see that at an airsoft venue, the one that charges!$... It's not likelly to happen!
