The Miami Beach Art Deco Festival 2012

I just finished yet another Epic SandCastle on South beach and the Art Deco Festival is in full swing.





This Festival is Dedicated to 1920-1945 era of Miami Beach so Fedoras and Top Hats are welcome!....I just happen to bring my penny farthing too!





I rode My Penny farthing Bicycle up and down the beach this Sunday from Lincoln road to South point and even along the baywalk to Montys just in time for Stone Crabs.... Yummy!- I arrived in the morning and stayed until 9pm hanging out and taking in all the events...it was a windy day so I even brought my kite collection to put on my very own show!.....ARE YOU IN A FESTIVE MOOD?!



Ocean Drive was Closed off to Vehical traffic and it was actually a nightmare to find good parking...I had to settle for parking at South point park...This is where bringing a bicycle comes in handy, but there are also many Rental bicycles stationed at vending machine areas so you can rent one if you forgot it!




You will need a bicycle if you actually want to check out large portions of South beach and even shop around without moving your car.

There was a fantastic Classic car show, unlike the usual car show- only Iconic era cars are allowed.




















As I rode along and on Ocean Drive it was absolute Pedestrian GridLock around all the vendors and artist display tents.

I also ran into some Milisim Junkies who had a display setting up WW2 era props and uniforms.







Then I hit the Beach and Rode the little high wheeler on the hard sand and reflected on a gloryious sunny day here on the beach!
